Winter turns to summer to turn to winter and maybe, summer again for a group of elderly people living together in an grand old building in Reykjavik, in what is an institution, but yet a home. Some having lived a lifetime close to a century.

The daily actions they have performed their whole lives are portrayed as textural meditative experiences while their bodies and memory performs as creeks flowing down a mountain to the sea. There is nowhere to go after Grund, but the ground herself. Life prevails as long as it can.
