Synopsis: On October 12, 1994, Children’s Day, Ramires smoked his first crack cocaine. He was only 14 years old. He spent almost half his life in and out of prison, committing and being the victim of countless acts of violence. From a very young age, he felt different from other people and fear was always a faithful companion, which still shows its face today. From bullying at school to the beatings he received from his father when he was young, and from the police as an adult, Ramires tells the story of his upside-down life, his lost loves and what it’s like to be a misfit in a society that rejects and punishes any deviation from normality.
